Downtown Pres needs more elders and deacons.

ELDERS: Elders–also called overseers or shepherds–give spiritual oversight to the church. They help with "soul care," protect the content of what is taught, and provide direction for the church.

DEACONS: Deacons serve the church by caring for physical needs–from members needing financial assistance to the facilities where we meet. They help the church cultivate generosity, and then apply it.

PLEASE NOTE: Nominations for elders and deacons must come from church members. Additionally, nominees must be church members and must be male.
*We realize this touches on larger issues you may want to discuss. If so, please contact a current elder–we want to engage with your questions. Those already serving as officers do NOT need to be re-elected. This process will determine NEW officers.
