Flourishment Luncheon

  • The Leaf Institute of Art & Vocation 1278 Pendleton Street Greenville, SC, 29611 United States (map)

A monthly luncheon for leaders who care about human flourishing.

Tickets: $25

This month’s speaker, Rick Hubbard and his wife, Chris, founded North End Coffee Roasters in Bangladesh in 2011.

Bangladesh is the developing world, and not for the faint of heart. In spite of many obstacles, including one of the worst terrorist attacks in history that happened just down the street from where the Hubbards were living, North End Coffee has gone on to become the Starbucks of Dhaka, a city of over 17 million people. They have several hundred employees, a dozen shop locations, and supply coffee beans to dozens of local businesses. They also train many other businesses on how to prepare and serve excellent coffee.

Most importantly, Rick and Chris are building a flourishing organization with the gospel at the root. People are flourishing at North End in amazing and counter-cultural ways.

Rick is going to share their story, and lessons he’s learning about building a flourishing organization that we can all learn from.
