SATURDAY (1/26):

CHILDCARE

Parents will be responsible for securing their own childcare for the Friday and Saturday portions of the conference. DPC members and regular attenders will be reimbursed for babysitting expenses (sign up sheets for reimbursement will be available at conference). Contact Tiffany Mauk for a list of sitters with background checks and experience.

On Sunday, regular DPC childcare will be available to all attending (members, regular attenders, and guests). The nursery will be open between worship services for children ages 0-4. Elementary Sunday School will meet in the education wing for children in K5-5th grade. Youth Sunday School will meet under the TV in the lobby at 9:45 am for those in grades 6-12.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Julie Lowe is a faculty member at CCEF, where she has served for more than 15 years. She holds an MA in counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary. She is a licensed professional counselor with over fifteen years of counseling experience. She has extensive experience with women’s issues, sexual abuse, body image issues, parenting, and child maltreatment issues, and regularly speaks at events on these topics. Julie is also a registered play therapist and has developed a play therapy office at CCEF to better serve families, teens and children. Julie has trained a therapy dog that she works with both professionally and on a volunteer basis. Julie and her husband, Greg, have five children and serve as foster and adoptive parents.
