Rev. Elbert McGowan will join us as our speaker from Redeemer Presbyterian in Jackson, Mississippi.

Pastor El was born and raised in Jackson, MS. He earned a bachelor's in mechanical engineering and met his wife, Karen, at Alabama A&M. While working in Ohio, Elbert witnessed his family's healing from a history of drug addiction and desired salvation for his own life. He found Christ through the encouragement of mentors. After marrying in 2004, Elbert studied at Reformed Theological Seminary and began work at Redeemer Church and JSU, resulting in years as an RUF minister, and later, a head pastor. Elbert and Karen have two children, Karis and Tripp, and live in Jackson.

Cost: $60 (Scholarships available upon request); cost includes lodging, dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
