Nursery
The DPC nursery provides care for children from birth through 3 years.
When you arrive at the Nursery, members of the Nursery Committee will be waiting to help you with the check-in process.
Children are assigned by age group to one of our five nursery rooms, each of which contain age appropriate toys and activities. Three year olds will also receive Children's Church programming in Room 5. We are following strict Covid-19 safety procedures related to cleaning our nursery rooms and toys during and after each service.
Nursing mothers may nurse in the Nursing Room, located off the nursery hallway, at any time.
Nursery Committee members remain in the nursery for the entire worship services’ duration in order to monitor the hallway, nursery rooms, and to assist the nursery workers as needed. Please feel welcome to approach them at any time with questions!
We take very seriously the well being of all children placed in our care (refer to our Child Protection Policy). There will always be a minimum of two adults in any nursery room. Care is provided by compensated workers who have undergone a thorough vetting process, which includes nationwide background checks. Church members volunteer as well, but they do not assist with diaper changes or bathroom trips.
All our nursery workers are required to adhere to our wellness policy and answer health screening questions when working. Volunteers are also required to follow our Wellness Policy when serving.
We want you to rest assured that your children will always be accessible to you during their time with us. If you're needed during the service, your child's security code will be displayed on the screens above the doors to the left and right of the stage in our sanctuary.

Nursery Check-in:
8:30 am service: check-in begins at 8:15 am
11:00 am service: check-in begins at 10:45 am
The nursery is utilizing contactless check in via the Church Center app. You may download the app here. If you're a visitor, the Nursery Committee members will be happy to assist you with check-in when you arrive.
